What Longingme is
Longingme is a free, anonymous emotional writing space. You can write privately (saved only in your browser) or share anonymously to a public wall where others may read it.
What Longingme is not
Longingme is not therapy, counseling, or a medical service. It is not a crisis service and is not monitored in real time by mental health professionals. It cannot guarantee any response time, and it cannot keep you safe in an emergency.

Who can use Longingme
Longingme is intended for users aged 16 and over. By using the site, you confirm you meet this age requirement. If you believe a child has used the site inappropriately, please contact us.
What you agree not to do
When writing on the public wall, please don't post:
- Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
- Threats, harassment, or targeted abuse of another person
- Content that identifies or could identify another real, private person
- Spam, advertising, or attempts to solicit others' contact information
- Content that sexualizes minors, or any other sexual content involving minors
- Instructions or encouragement for self-harm or harming others
We may remove any content that violates these terms, with or without notice, and may act on repeated or severe violations by restricting access.
Reporting content
Every entry on the public wall has a "Report" option. Entries that receive multiple reports are automatically hidden pending review. You can also email us directly about any specific entry.
What you write is yours
You retain ownership of anything you write on Longingme. By sharing something publicly on the wall, you grant Longingme a license to display it on the site for as long as it remains posted. You can request removal at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.
No warranty
Longingme is provided "as is," free of charge, with no guarantee that it will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We are a very small, independent project — not a company with a support team on call.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Longingme and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including anything posted by other users. We are not responsible for content posted by users on the public wall, though we will act on reports and violations of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project grows. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict of law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence if you are located in the EU.
